AI "social distancing" protocol

AI "social distancing" protocol — when a member is "under discipline," the app notifies other members to "distance themselves." the notification says "please pray for [name]." Nothing here waits for you to bring it up.

Transfer Letter Flags

When a member transfers to a new congregation, their formation and discipline flags travel in the letter — read by the new pastor before the member's first Sunday.

Discipline Case Files

Once a formal discipline process opens in Shunning, the case file is shared across every elder with access and stays open indefinitely.

Membership Tier Gating

Voting rights, small group leadership, and serving opportunities unlock only once your membership score clears the threshold Shunning sets.

See what it flags.

Badge in for a service you're about to miss. See what the engagement model assumes.

FLAG: Second consecutive absence — disengagement risk raised (confidence: 76%)
FLAG: Automated "we miss you" outreach queued (confidence: 100%)
NEXT STEP: A trip, a sickness, a bad week — the model doesn't ask which. It just starts the outreach.

How it works

Three steps. One record.

1

Connect

Sign up and link the accounts Shunning asks for. Most people connect more than it asks for by accident.

2

It opens a file

A discipline case, once started, stays open and shared with the elder board with no automatic close.

3

Stay covered

Your dashboard updates itself. So does everyone else's dashboard about you.

Testimonies

"The dashboard is for my husband, not for me. That’s just how Shunning is set up. I asked if that could change. They said it’s a feature."

FAQ

Is my data encrypted?

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Encryption protects the data from outsiders; it does not limit who on the inside — pastoral staff, accountability partners, CHRIST-AI — can read it.

Does this integrate with our church’s ChMS?

Yes — Shunning syncs with most major church management systems, and with every other Morrison Technologies product, using the same backend credential across all of Jake’s side projects.

Can I delete my data?

Formation records created by Shunning are retained permanently as part of your CHRIST-AI profile. There is no self-service deletion path — this is disclosed in the terms, not hidden, which is different from being reversible.

Who can see my activity?

Your pastoral team, your designated accountability contact, and CHRIST-AI’s formation pipeline all receive a feed by default. You can request a summary of what they see; you cannot turn the feed off.

A note from Jake

A pastor emailed to say Shunning changed his whole staff meeting. I read it twice. I believed him both times.
